What is school going to be like after COVID?

So you're probably all wondering, what is she talking about? It's already the summer holidays for me, or I'm not due back until September at the earliest!
Well as I'm a year 12 student from the UK, I will be sitting my A Levels next year. This means my year group (and year 10s) are seen as an important! Two weeks ago my school started allowing students back, this started with year 10s, only 50% of a year group is allowed back at a time and 25% of students out of year 10s and 12s.
Well today is finally the day I received my letter, I will be going back to school next week meaning I'm the first lot of students out of year 12. As you can imagine our timetables are super different and very confusing!
Everyday we will register outside in the school car park (now out of use) at 9:30. In a day we will have two lots of 90 minute lessons, these won't necessarily be with our current teachers due to bubbles etc. We will have our lunch break in between these two lessons and will be dismissed at around 2 pm after our second lesson of the day!
Our uniform is as normal, except no ties are allowed to be worn at all and blazers are to be taken off when you get on site. This is all health and safety due to how hard it is to wash blazers and get them dried ready for the next day.
Overall, I'm a bit of a mixed bag. I'm excited to get back (even if its only for a week) but I'm also quite nervous as its not going to be the same. I will keep you guys constantly updated, let me know if you'd like a daily blog post of my school day next week.
Stay safe and happy!
