How to ace your exams!

Exam season is quickly approaching and I am here to share with you my favourite revision method, which gets you the results you need.

So what is the revision method called? It's called the traffic light revision method or sometimes known as RAG (Red, Amber, Green). This involves looking over all the topics required in your exams and ranking them in groups. Red means you find the content hard to understand, Amber means you find the content ok to understand and Green means you find the topic easy to understand.

Let me show you how to start:

So first you want to list all your topics in the exams, however you like to make it easier for you to look at.

Here in the picture to the right you can see that I have listed my PE topics under their headings as that is easiest for me comprehend for my exams.

Now for step 2:

In this step we are ranking the topics in red, amber and green depending on how you find them.

Red = difficult

Amber = okay

Green = Easy

Finally:

I created a to-do list with checkboxes for each topic listed under the colour.

So as I work through each topic I can view my progress and tick each part off as I go.

Once you've organised everything you can then start working, first you start with the Red topics as they are your weakest points, then move onto Amber and then finally green! And that my friends is my top revision and organisation method.

I hope you have found this helpful, let me know if you have any request for future blog posts :)

Have a lovely day,

Amy
