When working and studying from home it can be incredibly difficult to stay focused and procrastination free!
Here are a few of my favourite ways to stay productive, enjoy:
1) Use the app flipd, its and amazing study app which I use to time how long I've been working for whilst preventing distractions like instagram, snapchat etc. I have a 75% off code which you can use to upgrade to premium, but the app is free to use! (check my special mentions)
2) Write a to-do list! I find to-do lists the key to productivity. Each weekend I will roughly plan my week so I know which tasks have the highest priority, then in the morning I will add to the list other tasks I need to complete which I usually forgot to add at the weekend.
3) Set yourself goals for your day and reward yourself when you reach them, this will improve your motivation and make you want to complete tasks more efficiently.
4) Ensure you are taking breaks and not studying for hours straight, this will help you retain information much quicker than you would when you're tired and unmotivated.
5) Let members of your household know things you need to get done that day, I find doing this really keeps me on task and if I do get distracted I have people around me to remind me of what I need to be doing.
6) Last but certainly not least, DO THE HARDEST TASK FIRST! This will allow you to feel achieved that you completed the task which you found most challenging, therefore making the left over tasks much easier to complete.
Hope you enjoyed my first blog post, theres many more to come I promise! If you have any suggestions for content on any of my platforms please don't hesitate to contact me.
Have a lovely day,
Amy :)
